The BP-3i is an 8.4volt 350mAh Ni-Cd replacement insert - goes INSIDE an existing ICOM BP-3 battery housing. These are now made with PREMIUM-QUALITY SANYO 350mAh NiCd cells. The old BP-3 battery pack unscrews open, so rebuilding is fairly easy. Some soldering is required.
