The CBE-217 is a BATTERY ELIMINATOR for mobile DC operation. It plugs into 12-13.8VDC cigarette socket; has coiled cord; clips onto back of handheld (it takes the place of the battery). Noise-filtering circuitry is built into the battery housing. Controlled 8.5VDC output to the radio; enables mobile Hi-Watt operation.
