The EMS-20i is a desktop Rapid-Smart Charger for 7.2v thru 13.2v Ni-Cd & Ni-MH battery packs such as BP-2, BP-3, BP-5, CM-5, BP-7, CM-7, CM-7x, BP-8, IC-8,BP-202h, etc (batteries that fit ICOM, Radio Shack, and REALISTIC HTX-202/404 HTs). The EMS-20i fast-charges the battery thru the bottom contacts on the battery, and has automatic shut-off when it detects the battery is full. The charger then switches down to trickle charge, to keep the battery full until you are ready to use it. User-friendly, buttonless operation. Easy-to read LED indicators show charging/finished status.
NOYE: If your battery does not have POS(+) and NEG (-) charging contacts built into the bottom of it, that battery cannot be charged in a drop-in charger like the EMS-20i. |
