The FNB-72xx is a 9.6 volt 2700mAh ultra-long-life Nickel Metal Hydride battery pack for the Yaesu FT-817. These packs are custom-made by us, right here in the U.S.A., and contain SANYO premium 2700mAh AA cells. This pack replaces the FNB-72 and FNB-85; it offers nearly twice the operating capacity of the FNB-85. This battery can be recharged thru the radio (with the NC-72B wall charger), but the better recharging method is externally, with a UDQ-9000 / UDQ-PLUS / OMNI-PULSE chargers & CA-72 chg adapter cable (sold separately).
