The PB-42XL is a 7.4volt 4000mAh rechargeable Li-ION battery for KENWOOD TH-F6A / F7 radios. This is an exclusive ULTRA-LONG-LIFE battery. It is twice as thick as the stock PB-42L battery. It re-charges thru the radio (14 hrs, then the 2 orange lights will go out, signalling full charge), OR in a desktop Smart charger like the EMS-42K (4 - 5 hrs).
IMPORTANT NOTE: because this PB-42xl battery is twice as thick as the original (because it has twice as much batteries inside), it will inhibit the use of the belt clip. IF you normally use the radio without the belt clip (say with a belt Pouch instead), then GREAT. If you really want to (or have to) use the factory belt clip, then you should consider our 2000mAh PB-42L battery (same thickness as OEM battery). |
